Day 1 -Gr. 1

Day 1
First Grade
A blizzard bag is used when it snows and the roads are too slippery to get everyone to school safely. When you are all done with your blizzard bag school work, will you get to go outside and play in the snow?

Draw a picture of you and your friends (and/or family) having fun in the snow.  It can be sledding, skiing, snowboarding, building a snowman, or any winter-time out-door activity you can think of. Be sure to capture movement; active people have arms and legs that are bent at the elbows and knees.
Take your time and use your imagination, be sure to picture what you want to draw in your head before you begin.
This picture can be done in pencil, but sure would look great if you could add some color with crayons, colored pencils, paint or markers.
Spend at least 20 minutes on this drawing.

If you decide to do your Art Blizzard Bag on your computer, just follow the steps listed at the beginning of the Blizzard Bag Blog. Be sure to scroll down the page.

Remember to rename your drawing. Use your own name and grade! Share with me on google drive, to mlemay@govwentworth.k12.nh.us
(The share button is at the top right of the screen.)
You may want to practice using the line tool first as it can be tricky. Try to remember what we did in steam class to create pictures. Share what you have created with me. mlemay@govwentworth.k12.nh.us                (the share button is at the top right of the screen

MAKE SURE ALL WORK HAS NAME, DATE, AND CLASS CLEARLY PRINTED ON THE BACK!
