Day 2 - Gr 6

Sixth Grade, Day 2

Have you ever thought about your hands?  They are amazing tools that can do almost anything. Carefully study your hands and take the time to draw them well.  Look at tall the knuckles and how they bend. Look at the nails and how they grow. Artists learn a great deal from drawing their hands.  Notice how all the fingers are different lengths.  They all have different functions and strengths.  There is the pinky finger, (the smallest) the ring finger, the middle finger (the longest) and the index finger (the one we point with).  But all those fingers wouldn't be able to do much without the most important finger of all...the thumb!

If you decide to do your Art Blizzard Bag on your computer, just follow the steps listed at the beginning of the Blizzard Bag Blog. Be sure to scroll down the page.

Remember to rename your drawing. Use your own name and grade! Share with me on google drive, to mlemay@govwentworth.k12.nh.us
